DISCOVERY; First of the non-Beatles albums to emerge from Mr Smith's Box. First non-Beatles album I thought properly brilliant and worth having. It lived on tape for a couple years. Then Robert got a copy and I got a better tape deck so raiding his collection I made a better cassette of this and a few others. That sufficed until it came out on CD.
WHERE & WHEN; One of those albums that manages to be hip across life-style banners. It's beatnik hip, flower child hip, jazz-bo hip and folk hip. That's a lot of hip. It's a very hip record. I wish I could say something more profound about it. It has a lot of words. There are enough words on the album I don't need to write more.
HIGHLIGHTS; Every note of it.
STATUS; CD
